The next piece of news should either please or give all of us with an iPhone here in the city a heart attack. Has AT&T actually followed through on their promise to the good citizens of San Francisco? I know, it`s a shocker but apparently, their 3G network is actually improving.
Yup, it appears as though the HTC Desire will be headed to the AT&T network which essentially means that the Nexus One is heading to the network under a different name. That definitely makes sense considering rumors had the Nexus One heading there at the beginning of the month.
This is a moment a lot of you in the city have probably been waiting for. You have AT&T but you don`t want an iPhone. You have AT&T, you want Android and you are sick and tired of waiting to see if the Nexus One is going to make the jump to the network.
If we were handed a nickel for every time we got lost or took a wrong street in San Francisco, most of us would probably be millionaires. Residents included. Unless you have excellent memorization skills, navigating around the city is an absolute drag.
Speculation leading up to the iPad debut here in San Francisco had AT&T losing iPhone exclusivity. Thanks a lot “insider sources”. Anyways, that rumor is apparently dead and it appears neither T-Mobile nor Verizon is going to be getting the iPhone.
While you can buy Google`s Nexus One unlocked, users are unable to make use of AT&T and Sprint`s 3G networks. That all might change soon.
Just when you thought AT&T was improving for its customers, they have begun requiring plans upon purchase of select phones.
Apparently AT&T is making big strides in improving cell phone service problems in metropolitan areas like San Francisco. With the iPad coming up, they may have some more issues.
