Verizon has big event planned Wednesday

This is big ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is real big and it seriously makes Wednesday one of the more anticipated days in awhile.

A connect has told BGR that Verizon is planning some sort of `kick off` event Wednesday and if you have been following developments, you would know that the 27^th is the day Apple plans to introduce their `latest creation` at the Yerba Buena Center of the Arts here in San Francisco.

I apologize; I might have said those exact words a million times.

Anyway, Big Red has told store managers to prepare for a live webcast that will be coming on at 10am PST. They do this every year to discuss their services, products, upcoming stuff but the significance of the time of this meeting might be pretty huge.

Or it might just be a coincidence, who knows.

There have been two big rumors out there over the course of the last week, one of which has AT&T losing exclusivity of the iPhone and the other being that Verizon is going to be providing service for the long awaited tablet.

I`m not just harping, it`s actually bad.

However, chances are it might be neither of those and instead could be something to do with Droid or Android or it could just be something cooked up to try and steal the wind from Apple`s sails on Wednesday, who knows.

It appears they are gearing up for something, but what, won`t be known until Wednesday morning.
